Duties

• Provide friendly, in-person customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and ensuring their dining experience exceeds expectations
• Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, including basic food handling and culinary techniques
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, such as ovens, mixers, and food processors
• Maintain cleanliness by regularly sanitizing work surfaces, utensils, and equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures
• Assist with food presentation and plating to ensure visual appeal aligns with quality standards
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems while handling weights and measurements with precision
• Support catering events or special functions by setting up stations, serving guests, and managing dietary requirements as needed

Qualifications

• Prior experience in fine dining or restaurant environments is highly preferred
• Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures
• Experience with food preparation, serving, and handling a variety of cuisines including catering or dietary aide roles
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently with manual handling skills
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor in in-person interactions
• Basic math skills for processing transactions and measuring ingredients accurately
• Familiarity with wine knowledge or beverage service is a plus but not required
• Previous experience working with POS systems and processing cash transactions is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced hospitality setting
