Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality service in both casual and fine dining settings.

Duties

• Supervise daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring efficiency and quality service.
• Train and develop staff in areas such as food preparation, customer service, and cash handling.
• Manage inventory control and ordering processes to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Oversee the use of POS systems for accurate transaction processing.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards.
• Handle budgeting and financial reporting to support restaurant profitability.
• Conduct interviews and manage hiring processes for new team members.
• Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and leadership.
• Implement training programs to enhance staff skills in culinary techniques and hospitality management.
• Collaborate with kitchen management to ensure quality food production and presentation.
• Address customer inquiries or complaints promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food handling practices.
• Experience with inventory control systems and cash handling procedures.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train staff effectively.
• Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial management within a restaurant context.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence.
• Experience in shift management, supervising teams, and managing kitchen operations is essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
