Duties

• Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent customer service.
• Supervise staff training and development to foster a motivated, knowledgeable team committed to hospitality excellence.
• Oversee food preparation, cooking procedures, and food safety standards to maintain high-quality offerings.
• Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
• Control inventory levels through accurate stock management, ordering supplies as needed to prevent shortages or waste.
• Manage shift schedules, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with health regulations and safety protocols.
• Support kitchen management by supervising food production, catering services, and bar operations when required.
• Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction and uphold the restaurant’s reputation.
• Assist in budgeting activities, including cost control measures related to food handling and labor expenses.
• Participate in interviewing prospective team members to build a strong, capable staff aligned with company standards.

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management within quick service or fast food restaurants.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
• Excellent leadership skills with experience in supervising teams, training staff, and managing shifts effectively.
• Deep understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and health regulations in the hospitality industry.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining integrity in cash handling procedures.
• Previous experience in fine dining or casual dining environments with a focus on customer service excellence.
• Competence in inventory control, food management, and cost budgeting to optimize restaurant profitability.
• Effective communication skills for interviewing candidates and providing clear instructions to team members.
• Knowledge of catering services, banquet operations, or hotel-related food service is a plus.
