THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
An ideal and highly qualified candidate will hold or be working toward a master’s degree in math education or a related field and will have completed a teacher preparation program and hold an appropriate teacher certification.
REQUIREMENTS:
•Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred
•Ability to teach Algebra and Geometry (Statistics a plus)
•Ability and willingness to be trained to teach the Pre-AP College Board curriculum
•Confidence to use technology throughout lessons and for assessments
•Collegiality and willingness to bond with math department members in order to increase rigor and best practices
•Ability to use Google Classroom a plus
•Willingness to become involved in all aspects of the school, including extra-curricular activities
