What are the responsibilities and job description for the In Home Caregiver position at Pope Caretaking?
We are looking for a caring and patient individual to take care of a 33-year old female with Huntington’s disease. This job offers a challenging yet rewarding experience with flexible hours.
Pay: $15-20/hr plus potential $1/hr bonus, $0.75/mileage reimbursement when driving is required
Schedule: 20 hours/week during waking hours; schedule will be mutually agreed upon with employer
Duties:
- Administers oral medication
- Supervises walking, bathing, and meals
- Prepares and cleans up meals
- Drives to Orem for rec classes that are mainly for socialization with friends
- Supervises at fitness classes
- Cleans occasional incontinent accidents
- Helps with personal care tasks, i.e. nails, hair, dressing, showers
- Offers companionship
- Helps clean her room (make bed, help put away clothes, etc.)
- Helps manage her phone and FitBit when they need charging or problem-solving

Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
