As we expand to support restaurant operators directly, we’re bringing on a senior leader who knows how to bridge the gap between innovation and operational reality.

The Role

We’re looking for a strategic operator who’s spent time in the trenches of restaurant operations, understands SaaS systems design, and sees the real-world potential of AI to drive efficiency and growth.

As Technology Practice Leader, you’ll lead client engagements focused on AI readiness, system interoperability, and operational enablement — working with both restaurant brands and the platforms that serve them.

You’ll operate as a senior consultant under the Popcorn GTM banner (1099 structure), contributing not just to client delivery but also to our brand, IP, and go-to-market strategy.

What You’ll Do

• Lead consulting engagements focused on AI systems enablement, data architecture, and operational transformation for restaurants and tech vendors.
• Design frameworks for validating AI against real-world workflows (e.g., scheduling, retention, cost control).
• Map and optimize system integrations across POS, inventory, labor, payroll, engagement, and analytics platforms.
• Build operational playbooks for franchise and enterprise-scale rollouts.
• Shape Popcorn GTM’s thought leadership in restaurant systems and AI strategy through content, client tools, and strategic initiatives.

What You Bring

• 15 years in restaurant ops, restaurant tech, or systems consulting
• Deep knowledge of systems architecture, AI validation, and cross-platform integrations
• Experience designing and leading change initiatives in operationally complex environments
• Strong executive presence and ability to lead client conversations from strategy to implementation
• Self-starter mindset with a bias toward action and clarity
