Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with skill and consistency
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit
- Handle cash transactions, credit card payments, and cash handling procedures with accuracy and integrity
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the café area, including food preparation and food handling tasks
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and minimize wait times
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks to support overall café operations
Skills
- Proven experience as a Barista or in food service environments with strong coffee knowledge
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient sales processing
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Strong cash handling skills combined with basic math proficiency for accurate transactions
- Effective time management to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
