- Apartment Maintenance Technician Job Summary: We are seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to complete resident work orders, provide preventative maintenance, and complete apartment turnovers. Candidate must have their own set of hand tools, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record. Candidate will work with a team in Nashua, NH.
Apartment Maintenance Technician Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete work assignments as directed by the Property Manager
- Perform various maintenance functions and minor repairs that do not require a license in the following areas:
- Painting
- Plumbing
- Electrical
- Appliances
- Flooring
- Carpentry
- HVAC
- Shoveling snow
- Complete apartment turnovers
- Join on-call rotation after introductory period
- Enforce and adhere to company policies, rules, and regulations
- Preserve and respect resident and applicant confidentiality
- Work patiently, professionally, and cooperatively with residents and staff.
Apartment Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Minimum 3 years experience in maintenance, construction, mechanical, HVAC required
- Experience plowing snow preferred but not required
- Physical Demands:
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Climb and work on ladders
- Work with arms raised overhead
- Stand/walk for long periods of time
- Climb stairs
- Bend at waist and knees to lift boxes, appliances, furniture, shovel snow, etc.
