Minimum Qualifications:
- A Clear/Preliminary Credential, in the subject matter of: Single Subject or Multiple Subject credential with ELA Authorization, or a District Intern Permit, Short Term Staff Permit or Provisional Permit to teach (must have 18 subject units in the subject matter for a Short-Term Staff Permit or Provisional Permit).
- Must have a B.A., B.S., or A.A. Degree (when applicable). If you have a Master Degree starting wages are: $65,000 w/ one year experience, w/ two years of experience $68,250 (student teaching do not count as experience)
- Valid Driver's License and insurance. Fundamental Responsibilities: Provide instruction to at-risk students. Teach content and skills in the assigned subject matter. Develop and implement lesson plans for multi-subject and/or single subject curriculum. To improve academic skills and to provide career and vocational awareness/education. Instruct Students in citizenship, and basic communication skills. This position needs to work effectively with multi-cultural/diverse groups, and have the ability to establish a positive relationship with Students possess knowledge of concepts in computers in an instructional environment. Must be able to work with cooperative group methods.
