What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pool Service Technician position at Poolside Solutions NJ?
We are a pool service and pool renovation company servicing the North New Jersey area. We are looking for an addition to our team for the 2026 season to help us with the growing demand for our services. We are looking for experienced pool technicians
Duties will include Closing/Opening residential swimming pools, maintenance/cleaning of residential pools, servicing pool equipment including but not limited to pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, salt systems, pool lighting, etc. The right candidate will be later on trained to do safety cover installation, vinyl liner installation, plaster preparation, pool plumbing repair, and installation, pressure washing, demolition and prep for renovation and construction. You should be able to lift 50lbs (most of the supplies we use are in 50lbs containers).
We are looking for someone with attention to detail, responsible, clean-cut and presentable, punctual, learns quickly, a team player, and has the ability to work independently and unsupervised. Pool maintenance and operations experience is a must. We provide fully paid training and certification conducted by the leading lecturers in the industry during the off-season.
Our office is located in Fairfield NJ. You will need reliable transportation to make it to our office each day. We work Monday-Friday starting at 7:00am during the busy season. Some Saturdays will be required during peak season.
ALL CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO PASS DRUG SCREENING TEST.

Pay: $18.00 - $35.00 per hour
