Duties
- Conduct comprehensive pool cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing walls, and netting debris to maintain cleanliness and water clarity.
- Perform routine inspections and repairs on pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorination systems to ensure proper functioning.
- Balance pool chemistry by handling water treatment chemicals safely and accurately to maintain optimal water quality and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues with pool plumbing systems and equipment, diagnosing problems quickly and implementing effective repairs using hand tools and power tools.
- Operate company vehicles responsibly to transport tools, chemicals, and equipment to various aquatic facilities while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain detailed service logs, inspection reports, and chemical treatment records for each assigned pool to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about maintenance procedures, safety tips, and ongoing care requirements.
Experience
- Prior experience working with familiarity with water treatment chemicals and pool chemistry balancing is essential. CPO required
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge related to pool systems—including pumps, filters, plumbing configurations—and troubleshooting skills.
- Hands-on experience with pool cleaning techniques using various hand tools and power tools required for equipment repair and maintenance.
- Customer service experience that highlights effective communication skills and a professional approach when interacting with clients.
- Outdoor work experience is beneficial due to the nature of the role’s physical demands and environmental exposure.
- Ability to operate company vehicles safely while following all transportation safety guidelines.
- Knowledge of water treatment chemical handling procedures ensures safe practices when managing chemicals used in pool sanitation.
