What are the responsibilities and job description for the Team Members: Lifeguards and Gate Team position at Poolside Aquatics?
Poolside Aquatics is looking for Lifeguards and Gate Team Members to join our team this Spring and Summer! We are hiring for several locations across the DFW area.
We are hiring for the Bridgewater community.
Schedule:
- May weekends
- Daily Shifts Memorial Day through Labor Day
- September Weekends
Lifeguards:
Pay: $12-16 depending on experience
Lifeguards are responsible for the safety of guests utilizing the facility. Lifeguards are certified in water rescue, CPR, First Aid and AED. Minimum age 15.
Responsibilities:
As a lifeguard with PSA, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Monitoring the safety of all patrons and enforcing facility rules in and around the pool area.
- Performing secondary duties when not on surveillance duty
- Completing all Opening and Closing checklists
Qualifications:
- Minimum 15 years of age or older
- Hold a current American Red Cross Shallow Water/Lifeguarding (Deep) Certification or be willing to obtain
- Attend monthly trainings/In-Service
Gate Team Members:
Pay: $13.00-15.00/hr
As a Gate Team Member with PSA, you will be responsible for enforcing entry procedures for patrons visiting private swimming facilities. Minimum age 18.
Responsibilities:
- Verifying visitor credentials such as badges, key fobs, mobile device passes
- Performing bag checks, searching for prohibited items (glass, speakers, etc.)
- Enforcing guest policies
Qualifications:
- Reliable transportation, ability to commute
- Customer Service Experience (1 year required)
