Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Accountant to join our team on-site in St. Louis, MO. The Accountant will manage daily financial tasks, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, and account reconciliation. This role involves preparing budgets, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Collaborating with small businesses and non-profit clients, the Accountant will use QuickBooks to maintain accurate financial records and provide customized accounting solutions.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and familiarity with other accounting software such as Xero
• Attention to detail, thoroughness, and organizational skills in managing accounts and transactions
• Ability to provide personalized client support and deliver customized financial solutions
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management and time management abilities
• Effective communication skills for interacting with small business and non-profit clients
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
• Previous experience in accounting for small businesses or non-profits is a plus
