Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Landscaper to join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team! In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining beautiful, functional outdoor spaces by applying your expertise in landscape care, groundskeeping, and equipment operation. Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and fertilizing to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal.
• Operate a variety of groundskeeping and landscaping equipment such as power tools, lawnmowers, excavators, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently.
• Maintain hardscape features like pathways, patios, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures to ensure durability and visual appeal.
• Manage irrigation systems by installing, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers to promote optimal water distribution.
• Identify plants accurately for proper care; apply pest control measures responsibly following pesticide management protocols.
• Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and removal as needed to promote safety and health of trees on site.
• Follow all safety protocols diligently during outdoor work to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.

Experience

• Proven outdoor work experience with a strong understanding of landscaping practices and grounds maintenance.
• Mechanical knowledge related to operating power tools, lawn care equipment, excavators, and other landscaping machinery.
• Familiarity with plant identification techniques along with horticulture principles for healthy landscape development.
• Experience in irrigation system installation and troubleshooting to support sustainable landscape watering practices.
• Construction experience or knowledge of hardscape installation is a plus for creating durable outdoor features.
• Ability to adhere strictly to safety protocols while handling equipment such as tree trimming tools during seasonal tasks.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
