Job Summary
Reporting to the Senior Sourcing Manager, this position is responsible for managing the current vendor base for a particular category, as well as looking for alternate vendors both domestically and internationally that will result in significant cost savings, enhanced sales margin, and/or enhanced delivery performance.

Job Summary
Reporting to the Senior Sourcing Manager, this position is responsible for managing the current vendor base for a particular category, as well as looking for alternate vendors both domestically and internationally that will result in significant cost savings, enhanced sales margin, and/or enhanced delivery performance.
Responsibilities
- Continuously reviews assigned category sales and looks for margin, cost or availability issues.
- Determines categories or items that present improved sourcing opportunities.
- Identifies suppliers that can supply new items or improve the supply of existing items.
- Negotiates cost, freight terms and legal conditions with suppliers.
- Assists in developing specifications on products to be sourced.
- Analyzes, evaluates and summarizes suppliers' offers.
- Assists in determining market price for products.
- Assists in the implementation of new product introductions.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or related discipline.
- 5-10 years of general pool product experience desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
- ISM Certification and/or courses desirable.
- International sourcing experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability and willingness to work overtime as required to meet project deadlines.
- Ability to travel on occasion domestically and internationally.
