Manufacturing Carpenter

Location: SCP- South Jackson- 384; 3774 I 55 S, Jackson, Mississippi 39212

Pay: $18/hour and up to $2,500 through our performance bonuses

Work Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-5pm

What to Expect?

The Manufacturing Carpenter supports the team and our customers by safely using various shop tools to build pieces for our assembly process.

On a Daily Basis Our Manufacturing Carpenter Will

• Read and interpret blueprint drawings.
• Accurately use and read tape measures.
• Use CNC machines.
• Use power tools including table saws, routers, and nail guns.
• Use hand tools.
• Communicates positively with supervisors, sales staff, fellow workers and customers.
• Operates a forklift safely and efficiently, maintains required certification, performs vehicle safety checks and reports discrepancies to supervisor.
• Change propane tanks as needed
• Assists in keeping facility clean, neat, safe and operating efficiently.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

What You Will Need

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior experience using table saws, routers and nail guns.
• Prior forklift experience.
• Follow and carry out instructions with minimal supervision.
• Prior experience using CNC machines required.
• To be 18 years of age or older to apply.
