Duties
- Conduct regular pool and spa inspections to assess water quality, equipment functionality, and overall cleanliness.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as skimming debris, vacuuming pools, brushing surfaces, and balancing chemicals to maintain pristine conditions.
- Diagnose issues with pool and spa equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorination systems; execute repairs using appropriate hand tools and power tools.
- Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical components to ensure smooth operation of all pool systems.
- Use specialized equipment to perform water testing, chemical adjustments, and system calibrations for optimal safety and performance.
- Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections thoroughly for record-keeping purposes.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining maintenance procedures and offering recommendations for ongoing care.
Experience
- Prior experience as a service technician or in a similar pool or spa maintenance role is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to repair and troubleshoot various pool equipment components.
- Hands-on experience with pool cleaning techniques, chemical balancing, and water chemistry management.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and small equipment essential for repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Familiarity with pool systems including filtration units, pumps, heaters, chlorinators, and automation controls.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple service appointments efficiently.
