Responsibilities
- Conduct regular pool cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing, and chemical balancing to maintain optimal water quality.
- Perform routine inspections of pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators to identify issues early.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical components using hand tools and power tools, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, chemical treatments, and repairs for each pool serviced.
- Assist with opening and closing pools seasonally or as needed, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Respond promptly to service calls for equipment malfunctions or water quality concerns to provide swift resolutions.
- Follow safety guidelines diligently during all maintenance procedures to protect yourself and clients.
Experience
- Prior experience as a service technician or in a similar maintenance role is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. Please note: compensation is negotiable dependent upon experience/knowledge.
- Mechanical knowledge of pool systems, pumps, filters, and related equipment is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with equipment repair using hand tools and power tools is essential for success in this role.
- Understanding of pool maintenance practices—including chemical balancing and cleaning—is necessary to deliver exceptional service.
- Previous experience working with service or maintenance teams will help you thrive in our collaborative environment.
