We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pool Technician to join our team. This role involves maintaining and servicing residential and commercial swimming pools to ensure they are clean, safe, and functioning properly. Responsibilities
- Perform routine pool cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, and brushing pool surfaces
- Test and adjust water chemistry levels to ensure proper balance and safety standards
- Inspect and maintain pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues with pool systems using hand tools and power tools
- Conduct preventive maintenance to extend the lifespan of pool equipment
- Maintain detailed service records for each pool serviced
- Respond promptly to service calls for repairs or maintenance issues
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean and organized following safety protocols
Requirements
- Mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair and maintenance
- Prior experience as a service technician or in pool maintenance is preferred
- Familiarity with pool cleaning techniques and chemical balancing
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for travel between job sites
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
