Duties
- Perform routine pool cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing, and debris removal to maintain pristine water conditions.
- Conduct water chemistry balancing by testing chemical levels and adjusting pH, chlorine, alkalinity, and other water treatment agents to ensure safe swimming conditions.
- Troubleshoot and repair pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, valves, and plumbing systems using hand tools and power tools.
- Maintain and service pool plumbing systems to prevent leaks or blockages, ensuring efficient water flow throughout the facility.
- Handle water treatment chemicals safely by following proper procedures for chemical agent handling and storage.
- Inspect aquatic facilities regularly for mechanical issues or safety hazards and perform necessary repairs or maintenance promptly.
- Operate company vehicles responsibly to reach multiple job sites efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in pool equipment troubleshooting and repair.
- Proficiency in pool chemistry balancing and water treatment chemical handling.
- Knowledge of pool plumbing systems and the ability to perform equipment maintenance using hand tools and power tools.
