What are the responsibilities and job description for the Swimming Pool Technicians and Mechanics position at Pool Guy Inc of Suffolk?
Leading pool company seeking motivated and reliable Pool Technicians and Mechanics to join our team! We build, renovate, both gunite and vinyl swimming pools and services as well.
Responsibilities For Service Tech:
- Perform pool openings and closings.
- Powervacing.
- Provide weekly pool maintenance services, including cleaning, chemicals, and equipment inspection.
- Conduct accurate chemical readings and adjust water balance as needed.
- Troubleshoot and report proper pool function (pumps, filters, heaters, etc.).
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding pool conditions and service recommendations.
Responsibilities For Mechanic:
- Perform a complete pool opening and closing.
- Diagnoses and trouble shoot/make repairs on pumps, filters, and heaters.
- Knowledge in PVC plumbing and manifolding of systems.
- Knowledge of automation a plus.
- Understanding of salt systems.
- Leak Detection.
Qualifications:
- Experience.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Works well with others to become part of a team.
- Communication and customer service skills.
- Basic knowledge of pool equipment and water chemistry.
- Construction knowledge is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and clean record a must.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $35.00 per hour
