Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, dependable Retail Sales Associate to assist customers with swimming pool and spa products, provide basic water testing guidance, and maintain a clean and organized store environment. The ideal candidate enjoys customer interaction and has an interest in pool care and outdoor living products.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide knowledgeable assistance with pool and spa products
- Perform basic water testing and explain results to customers
- Recommend appropriate chemicals, equipment, and accessories based on customer needs
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) system for transactions and handle cash/credit payments
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and maintain store cleanliness
- Receive and process incoming inventory shipments
- Answer customer questions in person and over the phone
- Assist with seasonal displays and promotions
- Follow safety guidelines when handling pool chemicals
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail or customer service experience (preferred)
- Basic math and computer skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn pool and spa product knowledge
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
