Pooh & Friends Child Care Development Center II is expanding and we are building a high performing teaching team to match our growth.
We are currently hiring dedicated, professional, and passionate educators for the following classrooms:
- Infant Teacher
- Toddler I Teacher
- Toddler II Teacher
- Early Pre-K Teacher

- Maintain a structured, engaging, and safe classroom environment
- Understand classroom management and child development
- Communicate professionally with parents and leadership
- Take pride in cleanliness, organization, and classroom presentation
- Follow all DCF regulations and center policies
We do not hire babysitters. We hire educators.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain a structured classroom environment
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate learning
- Support daily routines (meals, transitions, rest time)
- Maintain proper ratios and safety standards
- Implement curriculum and learning activities
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff
Qualifications
Required:
- Reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic and professionalism
- Experience working with young children
Preferred:
- DCF 45 Hours (completed or in progress)
- CPR / First Aid Certification
- CDA or Early Childhood Education background
