Systems Support Specialist Full Time

The Systems Support Specialist supports and trains end users to improve efficiency, data quality, and consistency in the organization's recordkeeping systems. This role collaborates with department leadership to design, develop, configure, administer, and maintain electronic forms and workflow processes that enable accurate reporting, billing, and compliance. The Systems Support Specialist will assist the Director of Information Technology in providing end-user support.

Hourly Range: $24.09 - $30.12 based on experience and education

Job Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree (preferred) in Information Systems or related field.
• Experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, database management, IT help desk or tech support role (one year preferred).
• Experience in a non-profit organization preferred.
• Experience providing end-user support and training.
• Experience administering workflow or business process management systems.
• Experience with workflow automation, document management, or quality management systems.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards applicable to the organization.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, privacy, and security best practices and possess the ability to handle sensitive information along with new technologies and artificial intelligence (AI).
• Experience managing system implementations or process improvement projects.
• Experience creating electronic forms and workflow automation.
• Must possess a strong understanding of compliance-driven business processes.
• Must possess excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, organizational skills, and technological proficiency.
• Must have strong "customer service" skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical users. This would include patience, good listening skills, and excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to communicate in an effective and clear manner, in writing and verbally.
• Must be able to analyze and resolve problems associated with telecommunication system, server hardware, server and desktop operating systems and application software.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Must have the ability to effectively prioritize competing requests, while keeping lines of communication open.
• Must have the ability to conduct business in a professional manner and exercise mature, independent judgment.
• Must have the ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
  
  

Specific Responsibilities

• Assist and train end users (including Individual Served) with using assigned devices and approved software and applications.
• Assist and train end users on Microsoft Office Software (including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), and the agency phone system.
• Assist with multi-media equipment and software, as assigned.
• Support the Director of Information Technology in the management, coordination, and maintain all aspects (including security and access) of the agency's wide area network, information systems and telecommunication systems.
• Develop and maintain a Standard Operating Procedures Manual for specific responsibilities and duties of this position.
• Any / all other duties as assigned by the Director of Information Technology or the Vice President of Operations & Administration.
  
  

Schedule

Monday - Friday. Work Schedule may be adjusted to include weekend, evenings, and holidays as needed

Travel between the agency's work location using an agency vehicle ( if available) to mee the needs of end ussers.
