- Support individuals to reach their full life potential
- Maintain quality of life with dignity and respect
- Assist individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's) and provide total care supports
- Encourage independence to the individual's capacity
- Serve as a positive role model to promote appropriate adult behavior
- Provide accurate documentation
- Adhere and implement Individual Support Plans
- Assure a safe, clean home environment upholding accreditation standards and regulations
- Team-player who can also work independently
- Maintain attendance according to the policy of the agency and position
- Day Shift 6:45am - 3:15pm *Required to work every other weekend
- Overnight Shift 10:45 p.m. - 7:15 a.m. *Required to work every other weekkend
- Hillsboro
- High School diploma or GED
- Interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to follow oral and written directions and problem solve
- Ability to evacuate individuals served in the event of a fire, natural disaster, or another emergency
- Must be able to perform CPR and crisis intervention techniques, paid training provided.
- Light computer skills to include data entry and word processing
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to be flexible to provide the needs of the individuals served
