Overview
We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Technician to perform installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and light commercial plumbing systems. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong technical expertise, professionalism, and the ability to deliver high-quality service while maintaining excellent customer relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and install residential and light commercial plumbing systems
- Service water supply and waste systems, including piping and fixtures
- Install and service water heaters (tank and tankless)
- Perform drain cleaning and underground piping work
- Accurately diagnose system issues and recommend appropriate solutions
- Maintain professional communication with customers and team members
- Utilize company-provided technology for job documentation and dispatch
- Comply with safety standards and company procedures
Mandatory Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Lead Plumber
- Proven proficiency in plumbing diagnosis, repair, and installation
- Experience with:
- Water and waste piping systems
- Plumbing fixtures
- Water heaters (all types)
- Underground piping
- Drain cleaning
- Strong professional and customer-service communication skills
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must reside within 30 minutes of Sylva, NC
- Ability to learn and use technology (tablet/iPad, dispatch software)
- Authorized to work in the United States
- English language proficiency required
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
