Ponton & Fernandez, Attorneys at Law, P.A. is a boutique immigration law firm based in Tampa Bay Area, proudly serving clients with compassion and excellence. We are currently seeking a bilingual (English and Spanish) Immigration Paralegal to join our growing team.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and organized professional who is passionate about immigration law and eager to contribute to a mission-driven legal practice. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, and is committed to providing outstanding support to both clients and attorneys.
Our office is located at 1082 Bloomingdale Ave, Suite A, Valrico, FL 33596, and this is a full-time, on-site position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate professionally and empathetically with clients, both in English and Spanish
- Gather, organize, and summarize client information and supporting evidence
- Maintain and organize client files and case documentation
- Prepare and draft immigration forms, affidavits, motions, and other legal documents
- Conduct basic legal research relevant to immigration matters
- Collaborate closely with attorneys and other legal staff
Qualifications:
- Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (oral and written)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as removal defense immigration paralegal (required)
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn case management software
- High level of professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail
