This role involves operating a company vehicle, managing delivery routes, and interacting with customers in a professional manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Pontious Delivery Inc. delivery vehicle on assigned routes
- Load, organize, and secure packages for efficient delivery
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial locations with accuracy and care
- Obtain signatures or proof of delivery when required
- Provide friendly, professional customer service at every stop
- Follow all traffic laws, safety guidelines, and company procedures
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain delivery logs, route sheets, and required documentation
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs. (with or without assistance)
- Comfortable driving in various weather and traffic conditions
- Strong time‑management and route‑planning skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Previous delivery or driving experience
- Pass a employee drug screen and background
