• Follow oral and written instructions from supervisors and colleagues to ensure seamless execution of daily tasks.

• Familiarize yourself with material safety data sheets (MSDS) to guarantee a safe working environment.

• Operate housekeeping equipment with precision and attention to safety guidelines to prevent accidents.

• Adhere to established cleaning procedures and protocols to maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitation.

• Comply with waste disposal procedures and follow directions to ensure a tidy and organized environment.

• Assist in the proper care and maintenance of housekeeping equipment to prolong its lifespan.

• Identify and report any equipment malfunction or issue to your supervisor promptly.

• Report any observed area in poor repair or disarray to your supervisor to ensure timely maintenance.

• Utilize housekeeping supplies efficiently and effectively to minimize waste and optimize resources.

• Attend in-service training programs for housekeeping employees to stay updated on best practices and facility policies.

• Observe and adhere to infection control procedures specific to the Housekeeping Department to maintain a safe and healthy environment.

• Respect and uphold Resident's Rights policies at all times, prioritizing dignity and comfort for our residents.

• Familiarize yourself with the facility's safety program and adhere to its guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

• Consistently demonstrate dependability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic by arriving on time and meeting deadlines.

• Accept and complete assigned duties in a cooperative and professional manner, working collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors.

• Accept accountability for the accuracy and integrity of the information contained in your employee handbook.

• Present yourself in a neat, clean, and professional appearance, adhering to dress code guidelines.

• Work cooperatively with residents, resident representatives, facility staff, physicians, consultants, and ancillary service providers to maintain a positive and respectful environment.

• Perform other related duties as directed by your supervisor to support the smooth operation of the facility.
