The restaurant Line Cook/Prep Cook will play a key role in preparing and organizing ingredients, maintaining sanitation standards, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations within a small team focused on Fried Seafood, Po-Boys, Burgers, Salad and Plate Specials. This position involves working Monday through Friday for a daily 9-10 hour shift without late nights, weekend, or major holiday duties, providing a balanced work schedule in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients and meals according to established recipes
  • Manage inventory and monitor ingredient freshness
  • Set up assigned stations for efficient service
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the kitchen
  • Coordinate orders to support timely meal preparation
  • Collaborate with a small kitchen team to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Monitor quality control to maintain consistent food standards

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • must be available Monday through Friday from 9am to 7:30pm
  • 2 years of experience in culinary arts
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of food safety practices
  • Strong time management and attention to detail
  • Effective teamwork and communication skills


***Pay is based on experience and is hourly plus tips
