Key Responsibilities:
- Create custom, high-quality floral arrangements for everyday orders, weddings, funerals, and special events.
- Assist walk-in customers and take phone orders with exceptional service and flower recommendations.
- Process incoming fresh flower inventory (cleaning, prepping, and conditioning stems).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and beautifully styled retail display floor and cooler.
- Efficiently manage daily floral order fulfillment during peak hours and holiday seasons.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2 years of professional floral design experience in a retail shop or studio environment.
- Strong knowledge of fresh flower varieties, care, handling, and design mechanics.
- Proficiency in a wide range of styles (traditional, modern, high-style, event, and sympathy design).
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Friendly, professional customer service and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work peak holiday weeks (Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, etc.) and weekends as needed.
