We're a growing, locally owned plumbing and HVAC company seeking a detail-oriented HR & Payroll Administrator to run people operations and payroll for our team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Run semi-monthly payroll for two entities — timesheets, tax filings, 401(k) contributions
• Own the BambooHR and Employee Navigator systems
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding
• Administer employee benefits, including open enrollment
• Manage leave-of-absence requests, pay increases, and employee concern resolution
• Coordinate safety meetings and monthly compliance drug testing
• Maintain company policies and procedures
• Support day-to-day accounting tasks — deposits, petty cash, reconciliations
• Coordinate fleet-related administration — fuel account, GPS, windshield/glass repair scheduling
• May include some light office administration support

What We're Looking For:

• 2 years of HR generalist and/or payroll administration experience (Required)
• Experience with an HRIS platform (BambooHR, Employee Navigator, or similar) preferred
• Comfortable managing payroll and compliance across multiple entities
• High discretion with confidential employee and financial information
• Strong organizational skills and follow-through on recurring deadlines
• Experience leading or coordinating a small team is a plus, not required

Schedule:

• Full-time, onsite at our North Salt Lake office
• Monday–Friday; some days require a 7:00 AM start
