We’re a busy, family-owned liquor store seeking a dependable, hands-on Assistant Manager – Retail Operations to help lead the store, support the team, and keep day-to-day operations running smoothly.

Schedule & Pay

• Full-time (38–40 hours/week)
• Alternating schedule: Monday–Friday one week, Tuesday–Saturday the next
• Hours: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch

Note: Saturday shifts are typically 8:30 AM–4:00 PM, but may occasionally be 4:00 PM–11:00 PM

• $17–$23/hour, depending on experience, reliability, and motivation
• Performance-based raises available after 6 months

What You’ll Do

• Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service
• Open and close the store with confidence
• Support freight check-in, stocking, inventory, and merchandising
• Lead by example and help enforce store expectations and policies
• Assist in onboarding and training new staff
• Help implement operational systems and improvements
• Take initiative to solve problems and keep things running smoothly
• Cover for the store manager when needed

What We’re Looking For

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Reliable and punctual — we don’t micromanage, so we need someone who will show up and do their job
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs, stock shelves, and move quickly when needed
• Calm under pressure and motivated to take ownership
• Friendly and respectful with customers and coworkers
• Comfortable with hands-on tasks and jumping in where needed
• Retail or customer service experience strongly preferred
• Management or keyholder experience a plus — but we’ll train the right person
• Background check may be required
