What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bremerton - Material Handler position at Ponderful LLC?
Responsibilities:
Performs a variety of warehousing duties. Work involves most of the following: Verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages; routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking, segregating or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods; rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials; removing material from storage and preparing it for stocking. May operate hand or power trucks; forklift in performing warehousing duties.
Requirements:
Physical ability to move large, bulky and/or heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, repetitive bending, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
Upon hire be able to successfully complete security application for a Common Access Card (CAC).

Hourly pay rate is $20.96. This is a federal contract, as such employees receive a Health and Welfare (H & W) benefit in accordance with the Service Contract Act (SCA) per hour for the first 40 hours in a week.
This is a temporary bargaining unit position covered under the OPEIU Local 4873 Collective Bargaining Agreement. The assignment is expected to run from now through approximately January 3, 2026, to support increased seasonal workload. Employment may conclude at the end of this period unless extended based on operational needs.
