Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated LICENSED Applicator to join our team. Please do not apply if you don’t have a background in chemical or pesticid applications. As an Applicator, you will be responsible for applying various substances, such as pesticides, algaecides, and herbicides, to bodies of water or other designated areas. Your attention to detail and knowledge of agricultural practices will contribute to the success of our operations.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain application equipment, including hand tools and power tools
- Apply pesticides, algaecides, herbicides, to bodies of water or designated areas
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure proper handling and application of chemicals
- Monitor weather conditions and adjust application schedules as necessary
- Keep accurate records of applications, including product used, location, and date
- Communicate with customers to provide information on services and answer any questions
- Assist with sales efforts by promoting additional services or products
Requirements:
- Previous experience in aquatic application or chemical application
- Knowledge of application tools and equipment operation is a plus
- Ability to drive and operate vehicles safely
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions
