Position Overview:

Pond Lehocky is seeking an experienced and motivated Employment Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in employment law and a passion for advocating on behalf of employees in matters such as workplace discrimination, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, harassment, and employment contract negotiations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Represent clients in employment-related litigation, including wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, and retaliation claims.
· Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and legal briefs.
· Handle all phases of litigation, from intake through trial or settlement.
· Negotiate settlements and represent clients during mediations, arbitrations, and administrative hearings (e.g., EEOC, PHRC).
· Provide counsel to clients regarding their rights under state and federal employment laws (e.g., FMLA, ADA, FLSA, Title VII).
· Collaborate with internal teams and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
· Maintain compliance with legal ethics and firm policies.
Qualifications:
· J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the Pennsylvania Bar (additional jurisdictions a plus).
· 3 years of experience practicing employment law (plaintiff-side preferred).
· Demonstrated litigation experience, including depositions, motion practice, and hearings.
· Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
· Ability to manage multiple matters independently and responsibly.
· Commitment to client service and a strong work ethic.
Preferred Skills:
· Experience with federal and state administrative agencies (e.g., EEOC, NLRB, DOL).
· Familiarity with class and collective action procedures.
