PGSL is hiring an experienced Yard Hostler for a full-time, direct-hire position.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• 11:00 a.m.–8:45 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Safely move and position trailers throughout the yard and at loading docks.
• Follow directions and signals from loading and unloading crews.
• Operate a forklift to load, unload, and move freight as needed.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.
• Report equipment defects, damage, or unsafe conditions.
• Maintain accurate driver and equipment logs in accordance with company and FMCSA requirements.
• Secure freight using the appropriate load-securing devices.
• Follow all company safety procedures and yard regulations.

Qualifications

• At least one year of yard hostler experience required
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work the full scheduled shift

Job Type: Full-time
