ISD Monitor @ Ponca City Senior High
Reports to: Building Principal
Supervises: Students
Qualifications: 48 Hours College Credit OR Passing Score on Paraprofessional Test
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Previous Experience Working With Students
Job Goal: Supervises and monitors students and their completion of assignments while assigned to in-school detention.
Employment Terms: 9 Month Contract, 7.25 Hours per Day, Exclusive of a Lunch
FLSA Classification: Nonexempt
Evaluation: Annually by Building Principal

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Note - these duties vary based upon the individual student needs and Individualized Education Plans. Typical duties may include:
- Works under the direction of teachers and administrators to ensure that students have assignments and necessary materials to complete their work.
- Monitors students’ completion of assignments.
- Checks completed assignments against what was requested by the teacher.
- Tracks assignment completion.
- Responsible for the welfare and safety of students.
- Ensures compliance with all school rules, procedures, and policies.
- Performs all other tasks as supervisor may assign.
Salary : $20,800 - $26,300
