Temp to hire - The position is a temporary basis for the initial 60-days, with the potential for permanent placement.
Schedule:
FT - 8 hour shift between 8 AM – 6 PM MST
PT – minimum of 20 hours/week
During the first 60 days of employment, you will be engaged in a temporary role until you obtain the necessary license and complete the 60-day period. The financial means to obtain the license will be covered by Poms.
As a Customer Service Representative (CSR I) within the P&C Processing Support Team, you will join a group dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service. This role is essential for maintaining Poms’ high service standards, requiring close collaboration with clients, insurance carriers, and team members to ensure optimal coverage and support.
What You’ll Do:
- Issue Certificates of Insurance and Evidence of Property forms promptly.
- Manage the ordering of loss runs from carriers.
- Download and upload policies, quotes, and proposals for policy checking, ensuring accuracy in premium, rating, and coverages.
- Process driver and vehicle additions, deletions, and changes on auto policies, including assistance of Auto ID cards.
- Review endorsements to ensure policy changes align with requests in the Agency Management System (AMS).
- Ensure accurate and efficient completion of all assigned tasks within established time frames.
- Adhere to agency procedures and uphold agency standards consistently.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- High school diploma or GED required; A college degree is preferred.
- Proficiency in multi-tasking, follow-through, and follow-up.
- Prior customer service experience preferred.
- Preferred to be licensed as a Property and Casualty agent per state requirements or willing to become licensed within 60 days of hire.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, professionalism, and effectiveness demonstrated in stressful situations and under deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Effective collaboration in a team environment, with strong self-starting capabilities under minimal supervision.
- Ability to prioritize and execute items promptly, fostering productivity and teamwork.
- Genuine willingness to learn, coupled with intuition, resourcefulness, and coachability.
- Analytical approach to tasks, applying strong problem-solving skills for effective and efficient outcomes.
- Positive teamwork with coworkers and maintenance of a driven, goal-oriented approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Desire to learn and attain proficiency in standard insurance coverages, including Commercial General Liability, Worker’s Compensation, Commercial Automobile Liability, and Professional Liability.
