General Worker

This is a school Food service position.

Duties

• Cashier must be able to speak and understand English for proper handling of student accounts and money.
• Assist in helping with stocking deliveries
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment.
• Follow food safety protocols to ensure all food is handled properly.
• Support the team in multi tasking as needed.
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Help with inventory management, including stocking supplies and managing grocery items.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively.

Skills

• Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures.
• Experience in culinary settings, with an understanding of basic cooking techniques.
• Familiarity with cash handling processes
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems for order processing when required.
• A proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
• Background check required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week (M-F, 8:00AM-1:00PM)
