Responsibilities
- Prepare food items efficiently and accurately according to established recipes and safety standards
- Operate POS systems such as Mosaic for processing sales, orders, and transactions
- Manage cash register operations, including processing cash, credit card payments, and giving correct change
- Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, kitchen equipment, and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food handling tasks such restocking supplies, helping with deliveries and cleaning.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support food prep activities while adhering to sanitation protocols
Requirements
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of POS systems and handling cash transactions
- Proven ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell products and handle customer inquiries professionally
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash register operations
- Experience with food preparation, food safety management, and operating kitchen or café equipment is desirable
- Ability to come to work on time and be a reliable employee.
