Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Ensure all bathrooms are cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Change bed linens and towels according to hotel standards.
- Conduct floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and polishing in common areas and guest rooms.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to meet health and safety regulations.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed to ensure timely availability of clean linens.
- Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and floor care.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor to interact with guests effectively.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- A background in hospitality or custodial experience is highly desirable.
