IT Project Manager
Location: Perrysburg, OH
Employment Type: Contract (6-12 months with chance of extension)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager in Perrysburg, OH to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technology initiatives across the organization. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget while aligning with business objectives. The ideal candidate excels at cross-functional collaboration, risk management, and clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in partnership with business and technical stakeholders
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies
- Manage day-to-day project activities to ensure milestones, timelines, and quality standards are me
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders
- Facilitate regular project status meetings and provide clear updates to leadership and teams
- Manage expectations and foster strong cross-functional collaboration
Risk & Issue Management
- Identify project risks and develop proactive mitigation plans
- Resolve issues promptly to minimize impact on timelines, scope, or budget
Budget & Resource Management
- Track project budgets and ensure cost controls are maintained
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to secure required resources and tools
Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including requirements, designs, and testing artifacts
- Ensure projects comply with internal policies, standards, and applicable regulations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in IT project management or a similar role
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
- Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or similar platforms
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, Agile, or Scrum certification
- Experience managing enterprise-level IT projects
- Familiarity with systems integration, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and vendor management
