We are seeking an IT Field Technician to provide on-site, client-facing technical support. This role will focus on the installation, servicing, repair, and maintenance of IT systems and equipment, as well as troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site client-facing support, including installation, servicing, and repair of systems and equipment.
- Perform quality checks to verify the operational status of system equipment prior to deployment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues related to hardware installation, repair, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Configure new PCs and notebooks using SCCM imaging.
- Manage and update service tickets throughout the support process.
- Escalate issues to the appropriate personnel or service areas for follow-up, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Provide support for Windows-based systems, software, and end-user devices.
- 1 year of field support experience.
- Experience with hardware and software installation, support, and troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting Windows 10.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and OS365.
- Experience configuring new PCs/notebooks using SCCM imaging.
- Experience with ticket management.
- Familiarity with iOS devices.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 40 lbs
