We are seeking an onsite Accounting Analyst for a full-time, direct hire role in Matawan, NJ. The Accounting Analyst will maintain aging at 90% current through proactive collection efforts, process incoming payments and generate invoices while ensuring accuracy and efficiency, provide financial, administrative, and clerical services in a high paced and high-volume environment.
Hours: Monday thru Friday, 8:30am to 5pm
Environment: Onsite office environment in Matawan, NJ
Salary: $55k-$60k
Job Description:
- Process weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc customer invoicing in a timely and accurate manner
- Post customer payments to general ledger received via check and/or ACH; reconcile any short payments or deductions.
- Maintain and analyze weekly aging reports and reconcile to periodic general ledger close.
- Research and resolve all inquiries related to vendor invoicing and payments.
- Conduct daily collection calls on past due invoices.
- Maintain strong working relationships with customers and merchandisers.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 1-3 years Accounts Receivable experience, including cash application, billing and collections.
- Computer Skills – proficient in Excel (including formulas and pivots), knowledge of SAP a plus
- Well organized and detail oriented
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Must be a team player.
- Ability to multitask in a high paced and high-volume environment
Salary : $55,000 - $60,000
