Our team includes clinicians, technologists, operators, and problem-solvers working together to make high-quality care more accessible for families nationwide.

We are expanding our network of registered dietitians to deliver expert, compassionate virtual care for individuals navigating perimenopause and menopause transitions. By joining Pomelo, you will have the autonomy to set your own schedule while being part of our multi-specialty care model. Unlike standalone nutrition platforms, our patients receive care from a dedicated medical provider, a registered dietitian, and a therapist. You will deliver a cohesive, holistic care model that drives superior patient experience and outcomes.

As Part Of The Pomelo Network, You Will

• Conduct synchronous video visits to provide one-on-one nutritional care for patients experiencing midlife and menopausal transitions.
• Collaborate within a multi-specialty care team—including the patient's dedicated medical provider and therapist—to ensure a cohesive, holistic care plan that drives superior patient outcomes.
• Partner with patients over a multi-week program format to facilitate sustainable lifestyle changes, manage symptoms, and enhance overall well-being.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition therapy focusing on metabolic health, body composition changes, bone health, and gut health.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Uphold clinical, privacy, and compliance standards for all visits conducted through the Pomelo platform.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• National certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) with a license to practice in any US state.
• *Candidates licensed in multiple states are highly encouraged to apply.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing evidence-based nutrition counseling.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week.
• Comfort using telehealth platforms, video conferencing, and electronic medical records (EMR).
• Strong clinical independence and exceptional communication skills, with a collaborative mindset for multidisciplinary care.

Experience or strong clinical interest in supporting patients with:

• Conditions of metabolic syndrome
• Weight loss and body composition changes
• Osteopenia/osteoporosis
• Gut health concerns, including bloating, IBS, and elimination diets

Compensation

Dietitians are compensated on a per-visit basis. Rates may vary by visit type, visit length, visit timing, payer requirements, and other program factors. Pomelo does not guarantee a minimum number of visits or earnings. Based on current visit rates and typical visit lengths, completed visits may result in approximate earnings equivalent to $60.00 to $70.00 per active visit hour.

This is a 1099 independent contractor role and is not an employment (W-2) position. As an independent contractor, you will not be eligible for employee benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, workers’ compensation, or unemployment benefits.
