Job Summary
Polyurethane Machinery Corporation (PMC), a leader in the spray foam equipment industry, is excited to announce the search for an Inventory Control Specialist to join our team.
In this role, you will oversee production work order management, inventory accuracy, optimize stock levels, and ensure seamless coordination across procurement, warehousing, and sales functions. Responsibilities
- Manage inventory levels through data collection, analysis, and reporting using ERP systems like SAP, SAGE, or AS400.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify discrepancies or inefficiencies in stock management and implement corrective actions.
- Create, issue, close production work orders
- Utilize warehouse management systems to monitor stock movements, shipping & receiving activities, and order fulfillment processes.
- Perform demand planning and optimize stocking levels.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance materials handling and inventory control procedures.
- Develop, implement, and maintain cycle count programs
- Audit department performance to inventory management SOPs
Qualifications
- Proven experience in inventory management within a manufacturing environment with strong knowledge of raw material, part, and finished good logistics.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, SAGE, or AS400; familiarity with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and other data visualization tools is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of procurement processes including sourcing negotiations and contract management.
- Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), materials handling equipment like forklifts, and shipping & receiving procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis and implement process improvements effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail, organizational skills, and teamwork.
Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
