Role Description

Polytronix is seeking an Aerospace & Defense | Business Development Manager to support growth across existing and new customer programs. This is an outside sales role focused on building relationships and identifying opportunities where our capabilities can be applied, including displays, panel assemblies, simulation systems, repair work, and cable or electromechanical assemblies. The role involves working with existing contacts and developing new ones, supporting quoting and proposals, and coordinating with internal engineering and operations teams to align on customer requirements. You will stay close to customer programs through regular communication and travel, meeting with engineers, buyers, and program managers, and attending customer visits and industry events as needed. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Richardson, TX, with expected travel.

Qualifications

• Experience working in or selling into aerospace and defense (e.g., military, repair stations, primes, simulation, etc.)
• Background with OEMs, suppliers, or contract manufacturers is helpful
• Familiarity with products such as displays, panels, cable/harness assemblies, or simulation systems and repair is a plus
• Understanding of how A&D programs are sourced and managed over time
• Comfortable working with engineers, buyers, and program managers
• Organized, reliable, and able to follow through on opportunities
• Willing to work on-site in Richardson, TX and travel as needed
