Position Details
- Position: Adult Education Promotion & Social Media Specialist
- Hours: 10–15 hours per week
- Schedule: Day and evening availability required
- Location: In Person (This is not a virtual or remote position.)
- Hourly Rate: $25.00–$28.00, based on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute promotional campaigns to increase awareness of Polytech Adult Education programs and events.
- Create, schedule and publish engaging content for social media platforms, print materials, digital advertising, and the Adult Education website.
- Design promotional materials that align with Polytech branding.
- Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and encourage community engagement.
- Maintain a campus presence to capture content from classes and events.
- Collaborate with Adult Education staff to develop marketing strategies for new and existing programs.
- Research marketing trends and recommend innovative promotional ideas.
- Track social media and advertising analytics to evaluate campaign effectiveness and recommend improvements.
- Maintain organized marketing files, photo libraries, and promotional calendars.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Experience creating engaging social media content.
- Strong knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms.
- Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar graphic design software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong photography and basic video editing skills are preferred.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple departments.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
