Technical Transfer Manager
Location: San Diego, CA | Employment Type: Full-Time
Drive early-phase manufacturing and rapid RFP execution in a fast-paced CDMO.
PolyPeptide is looking for a Technical Transfer Manager to lead early-phase manufacturing efforts and ensure fast, high-quality technical responses to client RFPs. In this role, you’ll oversee early process development, support seamless client onboarding, and guide cross-functional teams as new projects move from concept to production.
What You’ll Do
- Lead technical evaluation and rapid turnaround of RFPs
- Oversee early-phase process development, scale-up, and tech transfer
- Support smooth onboarding of new clients and projects
- Partner with QA, QC, Supply Chain, and other functions to ensure operational readiness
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting for process and client-specific needs
- Lead technical documentation efforts, ensuring timely and compliant records
- Drive continuous improvement for speed, efficiency, and scalability
- Mentor technical staff and promote a culture of innovation and accountability
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field
- 10 years in technical operations or manufacturing, ideally in a peptide CDMO
- Strong experience with RFP management and early-phase process development
- Solid understanding of GMP and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Experience with Lean or Six Sigma is a plus

Salary: $140K-$150K
